ANTHONY POINDEXTER AGREES TO TERMS WITH BELFAST STORM

Updated Tuesday July 29, 2014 by American Basketball League.

Anthony Poindexter has agreed to terms with the Belfast Storm.  The Storm had interest in Anthony having seen him via live stream at our Combine, but playing for the Lightning in the ABL, watching game film, and following his stats clinched the deal.  Anthony’s versatility was key in their decision to offer him a Pro Contract.  This shows yet again how the ABL can enhance the opportunity for its players by offering them maximum exposure during the summer months when most overseas teams are looking to sign players stated ABL commissioner Eric Newsome.

Anthony represented not only his self but his team, Orlando Lightning, and the American Basketball League in a very professional way and we couldn't be more happy to see him get this opportunity of a life time to continue his playing career professionally.

He leaves for England in late August.
